My name is Tessa Devine. I am currently a senior at UW-Madison, pursuing a degree in Journalism with a concentration in reporting from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. In addition to my major, I am also working toward certificates in Digital Media Studies and Gender and Women’s Studies
My Story
During my time at UW-Madison, I made sure to put my eggs in many baskets, trying anything and everything that interested me. From working on magazines to trying my hand in health communications through my internship. I’ve soaked up every opportunity to sharpen my media creation skills and explore what sparks my creativity.
Creativity has always been a central part of my life. I fondly recall making videos to recap family vacations and encouraging my mom to write down my story ideas long before I could write myself. My passion for storytelling drives me to highlight important work and achievements, as I believe they deserve to reach their intended audiences.
On a personal level, I prioritize relationships and connections, which enrich my life immensely. I find this perspective extends to my professional pursuits as well, as collaboration and communication are key to impactful storytelling. Let’s connect and tell some amazing stories together!
Hobbies
I like to think I bring the same energy to my work as I do in my free time. When I’m not on the clock, you can find me indulging in my favorite hobbies, which often weave their way into the content I create.
